Scheduling Assistant | Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacy

Your opportunity is here to support the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) pharmacy team in caring for patients at CentraCare and making rural life healthier! You will be responsible for contacting, explaining and scheduling of for patients for medication therapy management (MTM) appointments with pharmacists across the CentraCare service area.  

What you will do:

You will do meaningful work assisting with Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and Population Health initiatives for the CentraCare system. Tasks include facilitating patient outreach through calling and scheduling patients for MTM Pharmacist visits across the CentraCare system. Report generation and interpretation Apply detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. Responsible for obtaining and identifying information to support MTM Pharmacy staff. Implement patient safety as appropriate. Scheduling and registering for appointments and transmit information to other departments Process documents of a complex nature checking for accuracy and completeness Responsible for contact, explanation of services and scheduling for patients Prioritizes patient calls from population health and plan provided databases based on deadlines and department needs. Supports department leadership in quality assurance, program reviews/audits and pharmacist clinic schedule filling.  Using databases provided by population health and plans, contact patients to explain medication therapy management visits and schedule patients for in person, video or phone visit.

Schedule:

Full-time | 60 hours every two weeks | Onsite Days | Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Pay and Benefits: 

Starting pay begins at $17.95 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $17.95 - $26.94 per hour Full time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available 

Qualifications:

One-year prior scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable and/or collections experience in healthcare, preferably in a clinic or hospital preferred High School Diploma or GED   1 years one year of experience or equivalent
