InGenesis is currently seeking a dedicated Scheduling Coordinator to work with our client. In this role, you manage staff scheduling duties efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule staff according to established ratios to ensure optimal coverage.Finalize department schedules in a timely manner to meet operational needs.Utilize scheduling tools to promptly fill staff call-outs during shifts.Communicate proactively with staff to fill open shifts and manage shift swaps.Approve shift swaps within the scheduling tool as needed.Collaborate with supervisors to address urgent staffing requirements.Maintain and update active staff information in the scheduling system.Communicate with staff via phone, text, and email to ensure departmental staffing needs are met.Review schedules for accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations.Answer routine telephone inquiries and provide assistance to staff and management.Train new staff on scheduling system requirements and procedures.Ensure staff are assigned to the correct units based on qualifications and operational needs.Identify and address coverage gaps in coordination with leadership to maintain service delivery.Additional Responsibilities:
Participate in scheduled meetings and contribute to team discussions and initiatives.Prepare presentations and training materials as needed for staff development.Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English to facilitate clear information sharing.Collaborate with other staff members, service providers, and professionals to enhance program effectiveness.Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organization’s goals.Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in a relevant field is preferred.At least 3 to 5 years of scheduling experiencePrevious healthcare scheduling experience is required.Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.Physical Demands:
Frequently required to operate a computer and file or retrieve written documents.Physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching, and bending.About InGenesis
