Scheduling Coordinator
Position Summary
The Scheduling Coordinator is an integral part of the Dispatch & Customer Service team and operates as the front line of customer service. The position is responsible for receiving material orders from customers and helping to manage production and delivery schedules to fulfill customer requests. The role is based in San Diego, CA and reports directly to the Transportation and Logistics Manager.
Requirements
Receive inbound phone calls from customers for material orders Assist with schedule planning to maximize plant production without overbookingConfirm details of scheduled orders prior to shippingAnswer questions regarding schedule from Operations and Sales staffAbility to communicate effectively with customers and logically troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, job problems, or other issues.Other duties as assignedMinimum Education and Experience
High School or GED equivalent required. B.A./B.S. degree in related field preferredProfessional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree 3 years of related experienceBi-lingual Spanish speaking requiredKnowledge Skills and Abilities

Physical requirements include lifting/carrying up to 5 pounds from ground to waist, visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity, repetitive motion, standing, sitting (must be able to sit for up to 4 hours at a time), walking, climbing stairs, and driving capabilities.
Working Conditions
Environment varies between air conditioned office environments and occasional outside assignments that may include all weather conditions such as heat, cold, wet or dry. Incumbent may be exposed to plant dust, sand, gravel, diesel exhaust, on a limited basis. Incumbent may occasionally have to work outside of normal business hours via laptop and mobile phone.

Salary Posting:We are excited to share the base range for this position is $27-$32, exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base hourly compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The posted range for this role represents the total reasonable pay range and does not solely represent a hiring range. Therefore, hiring at the top or maximum of the range should not be expected as it would not allow for salary growth opportunities in the role, would diminish promotion value, and may not align with internal equity. In addition to our base compensation, we also offer a competitive benefits package for full time employees (more information on benefits listed below).
