Additional duties based on needs of office. Coordinating referrals and follow up imaging for patients. Cross-train to assist with surgical scheduling as needed.EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline with one to two years progressive experience in the field. Advanced degree is aplus/requirement, depending on specific service needs and/or requirements. Ideally the candidate will have some supervisoryexperience. Or, AAS degree in appropriate discipline with progressive experience in the field will be considered based on specificdepartment needs and/or requirements. Or, high school graduate with a minimum of six years progressive experience in the field andadditional supervisory training based on specific service need. Certification/licensure as required by regulatory agency.Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas ofexpertise.SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal, motivational and conflict resolution skills. Strong participatorymanagement, team building and administrative skills. Provides reports and data relating to theongoing status of the service assigned.· Coordinates the internal service operations as well as coordination withother departments, while providing leadership and support to the serviceassigned.· Works with supervisor and/or staff depending on the service size andstructure.Financial:· Participates in the monitoring, control and reporting variances to theassigned service budget.· Signing authority as assigned by the Director.Operational:· Ensures the daily operations of the service, including but not limited toscheduling, personnel, safety, coordination, communication, project/workflow and performance of staff duties as required and assigned.· Provides consultation to other services or areas as required.Human Resources:· Assists in the recruitment, development, retention and evaluation of staff.· Monitors all personnel issues.Communications:· Communicates with service management on all relevant financial,operational and human resource issues.· Facilitates open communication throughout all levels of services.· Serves as a resource for information about the service in particular andthe network in general.· Effectively educates the patient/family in specialty area.· Adheres to hospital confidentiality statement.Researcher:· Participates in Performance Improvement and Monitoring.· Applies current concepts and findings from research and/orstudies to practice.Additional Additional **Attachments** Pay Range: $19.50-27.85Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
