Shift: Full-time, daysObtains the patient's name, schedules the patient for ordered procedures, obtains ordering physician and insurance information, and provides patient with necessary instructions for ordered test/procedure.Communicates the Medical Center's billing policies and procedures as well as any physician billing practices.Communicates with both the patient and appropriate departments regarding concerns and issues. Responds promptly to all inquiries.Communicates and educates staff with regard to system and scheduling updates.Investigates and resolves any issues involving insurance payors that may or may not provide capitated services.
Requirements:
