Scheduling Project Controls Specialist
Job Description Our client is looking for a Scheduling Project Control Specialist in the Seattle, WA area. This role will have a process that repeats every month. This person will be working on 5-8 projects at once, some can be 8 months, some can be 2-3 years. This team does projects from gas to electric and other types in between depending on what management decides. In the last week of the month, this person will be reviewing schedules with PMs, looking at the previous month to see what should have gotten done, while keeping forecasting in mind to be as accurate as possible, and apply the appropriate adjustments accordingly. The first week of the month will consist of re-forecasting. You will be using SAP to work with overheads and benefits, downloading all costs out of SAP, and make accurate assessments going forward. The second week, this person will be meeting with the team to see what the actuals are and earned costs/value. By the third week, this person will be closing out and putting documentation in SharePoint, the SAP tool, and help the PMs enter data. The fourth week is going from cost down to scheduling, having staff meetings, and getting everyone on the same page.
