Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Supervisor in the Edison, New Jersey area. This role involves overseeing a team, partnering with various internal teams and clients, and maintaining organization through the use of Excel spreadsheets. Responsibilities: • Supervising and coordinating with a team of schedulers • Collaborating with warehouse personnel and Project Managers to coordinate project installation schedules • Establishing project timelines and coordinating with contractors and crew members • Utilizing Excel for tracking purposes and maintaining organized data • Communicating regularly with clients to provide updates • Adapting to the implementation of new systems for data management • Ensuring all parts of the project are progressing as planned and taking detailed notes of the progress. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within the retail industry, preferably furniture. • Exceptional skills in scheduling, including staff rosters, deliveries, and in-store events. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in using scheduling software and tools. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure. • Comfortable working in a team setting as well as independently. • Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a detail oriented manner. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the retail industry. • A degree in business management or a related field is preferred. • Knowledge of the furniture industry is an added advantage.
