The Scholarship Specialist oversees internal scholarship programs, maintains accurate databases, processes applications, and generates reports. They support students with application completion and submission and provide clear communication on application statuses. This role collaborates with internal partners and shares scholarship outcomes with both students and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Scholarship Program Administration: Manage internal scholarship programs, including data entry, database maintenance, and compliance with SOPs, laws, and regulations.

 

• Application Management and Communication:  Review and evaluate applications, communicate with applicants, and resolve missing documents.

 

• Reporting and Stakeholder Communication Report scholarship awards and applicant data to campuses, representatives, and stakeholders.

 

• Process Improvement and Support: Identify areas for process improvement and assist in creating new scholarship programs.

Qualifications

Education / Experience
• HS Diploma or GED 

• One (1) year experience in customer service

 

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Adobe, TEAMS, etc.)Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with attention to detailExcellent customer service abilities


Abilities:

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and judgmentProficient with computer systems and softwareExcellent communication, multitasking, and adaptabilityAble to manage sensitive information and build relationshipsQuick learner, able to apply information effectively
