Terry Reilly is excited to announce an opening for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, LPC) to join our dynamic team! This position offers a flexible schedule at .8 FTE (32 hours per week), with the option to increase to 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) through additional hours at the Terry Reilly Trauma and Resilience Center in Caldwell. The role is a year-round salaried position, with summer hours split between our Middleton and Caldwell locations.\n
We are partnering with the Middleton School District to provide school-based therapy for students, and Middleton is committed to expanding counseling services in its schools. Students have been vocal in advocating for their mental health needs, and the district is deeply invested in working with Terry Reilly to deliver high-quality clinical care. Depending on your preference and experience, this role may involve working with either junior high or elementary students.\n
We are seeking a therapist who enjoys working independently, while also collaborating closely with school personnel to coordinate care. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES \n
Development of a school-based therapy program with an emphasis on individual, group and family treatment. Provide behavioral health services and\/or consultation, treatment, intervention, and prevention services to school aged children and their families in order to improve psychosocial functioning. Provide coordination of care with Terry Reilly medical and behavioral health clinic.\n
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n\nSuccessful clearance of Department of Health and Welfare criminal background check.\nMaster's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field. \nCurrent professional license in the state of Idaho (LPC, LMSW).\nTwo years assessment and counseling experience (may include school internship in a Master's program)\nExperience formulating a DSM IV diagnosis.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience working with disenfranchised populations.\n\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nValid LCSW, LCPC or equivalent in the State of Idaho.\nBilingual in Spanish and English\nThree or more years' experience assessing and counseling clients.\nExperience providing behavioral health services to children. \nTraining or certifications in trauma-informed interventions (such as EMDR or DBT). \nExperience working in a medical setting, community health setting, or as a member of a multidisciplinary team.\nKnowledge of computer and email systems, as well as EMR.\nKnowledge of community resources, including those for the migrant and farm worker populations.\nFamiliarity with State of Idaho Health & Welfare Mental Health system.\n\n
