As a School-Based Support Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate support services for students, families, and school staff within a school or district. They supervise school counselors, social workers, and other support staff to ensure students receive necessary academic, emotional, and behavioral support. This role also involves collaborating with teachers, administrators, and community partners to develop and implement support programs that promote student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership
Supervise support staff: Oversee school counselors, social workers, and other support staff to ensure effective delivery of support services.Provide coaching and development: Offer guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to support staff.Foster a positive team culture: Promote collaboration, communication, and teamwork among support staff.Program Development and Implementation
Develop and implement support programs: Design and deliver programs that promote student academic, emotional, and behavioral success.Collaborate with school staff: Work with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to integrate support services into school operations.Evaluate program effectiveness: Assess the impact of support programs and make data-driven decisions to improve services.Student and Family Support
Provide crisis intervention and support: Respond to student crises, such as mental health emergencies or traumatic events.Facilitate student and family connections: Link students and families with community resources, services, and support.Promote student well-being: Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment that promotes student well-being.Communication and Collaboration
Communicate with school staff and administrators: Share information, provide updates, and seek input from school staff and administrators.Collaborate with community partners: Work with community agencies, organizations, and providers to leverage resources and support.Facilitate parent and guardian engagement: Encourage parent and guardian involvement in student support services and school activities.Data-Driven Decision Making
Collect and analyze data: Gather and examine data on student outcomes, program effectiveness, and support service utilization.Inform decision making: Use data to inform decisions about support service delivery, program development, and resource allocation.Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Masters OR Bachelors Degree in one of the following:Psychology
Sociology
Social Work
Additional Qualifications:
