Position Purpose:
Ensures coordination and delivery of services to a designated program and caseload of clients. Provides leadership and supervision of direct service staff and is responsible for day-to-day administrative oversight of assigned staff and provision of care to clients. Assists in the establishment and monitoring of services to clients and coordinates the client’s individual plan of care. Assures compliance with agency, state and federal guidelines.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
Managing staffing needs of the BI program including coverage for BIs who are sick or otherwise unable to work, approving timecards for BIs, and time off requests. Supporting the Therapeutic Activities Coordinator in the management of summer camp Coordinate services at intake, discharge, and throughout the program for students referred into the Success Beyond Six program. Facilitates and monitors the client’s individualized plan of care. Coordinating and facilitating group supervision (with the support of the BCBA) Attending weekly supervision meetings with the Area Manager Communicating regularly with schools regarding any work performance issues (with the support of the BCBA and Area Manager) Attending school meetings as needed and available (with the support of the BCBA and Area Manager) Providing training, onboarding support, and mentoring to BIs as needed (with the support of the BCBA and Area Manager) Providing BI coverage to schools as needed Coordinates appropriate services for the client, consistent with the client’s individual plan of care. Provides education and support to clients and their families regarding living with mental health challenges, emphasizing increased self -esteem, self-determination, and independence. Completes accurate, timely and high-quality documentation of all services provided. Maintains appropriate communication with other members of the client’s treatment team, to ensure coordination of care to support positive, person-centered treatment outcomes. Interview, selects, trains and supervises direct care staff working with clients. (with support of the Area Manager)

Relationships:
Reports to the Area Manager Supervises Behavior Interventionist Coordinates with other supervisors, treatment team members both inside and outside the agency, with the consumer’s guardian and identified support system. Builds and maintains positive relationships with all community partners and agency stakeholders as a key representative of the agency.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field (strongly preferred) and 3 years of experience in the provision of services to children or adults with mental health challenges or developmental disabilities. Previous leadership and teaching/training experience preferred but not required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to listen effectively. Ability to read and interpret documents such as: technical procedure manuals or government regulations. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, guardians, treatment providers, employers, outside agency personnel, and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively for training.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Understanding of statistical issues related to research, data collection and data reporting.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
A valid driver’s license and/or the capacity to travel regularly from office to office, or to businesses. May be required to transport consumers.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work flexible hours.
