What you will Do:
Ensures health office is well-maintained and funtionalServes as the primary point of contact for students needing health assistance and maintains good working relationships with students, parents, staff members, and administrationReviews completed forms and documents student health information according to applicable school and health policies.Develops and maintains a recordkeeping system for necessary files to ensure confidentiality and authorized access to accurate and updated records, includes updating electronic health records (i.e. Student Health Records, Immunization Records, Class/Student Lists).Provides care to students and assists the School NurseHours/Schedule:
60 hours biweekly (.75 FTE)
Minimum Qualifications:
High School or Equivalent (GED) 0 – 2 years of prior experience working with and engaging children. Previous work experience in a medical environment preferredBLS. Mandatory Reporter Training. First Aid. Must completed annual Iowa Department of Education's requirements on Medication Administration.
