– 2024/25 School Year (Sept 2024 – May 2025) – North St. Louis County, MO – 8:15am-4:00pm, Monday – Friday – 36-40 hours/week – Full Benefits Offered – MO Registered Nurse License Required
The School Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a school setting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contracted services. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare’s philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate student’s care needs Demonstrates on each assignment the provision of skill nursing care in accordance with prescribed orders/IHP Performs interventions, treatments and medications administration according to the identified priorities as outlined in the IHP Monitors and documents effectiveness of interventions, treatments and medications Completes documentation per client expectations Coordinates and facilitates services as requested between the school, local health agencies and other community resources to meet the needs of the student Communicates with the school district personnel about student’s plan of care/IHP Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits: Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
