The Center was the first in the nation to have a sensory room, and opened the first group home in New York State for children and youth with significant behavior management needs. Location: + 1st Location: 1000 Elmwood Avenue – preschool students – 3-5 years old + 2nd Location: 1000 Elmwood Ave, 101 East Henrietta Road and 2617 East Ave (preschool and school age students – 3-21 years old). ***The float RN can go to all 3 campuses or someone who wants an office type job in Elmwood, checking in on students, injuries, schedules, etc. ***100-150 students Requirements: + RN New York State License + At least 6 months of nursing experience + Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. + Personal passion or experience + Compassionate and caring + Patience (especially at the Rush house) + Initiative + Team player (they are a very tight-knit family) Hours: + Monday-Friday + Can start between 7:30am and 8:15 am (Would work 7-8 hours a day, 35 0r 40 hours per week total - Candidate can decide) + No On-Call!
