Sheppard Pratt School in Hunt Valley is a nonpublic special education day school providing educational, therapeutic, and daily living services to students ages 5 to 21. Our tailored programs cater to students with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and other health impairments, ensuring each student receives the support they need to thrive. What to expect.
You will promote the health and well-being of our students, ensuring they have access to quality medical care and support through their educational journey. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to students with various medical needs, including but not limited to medication, administration wound care, and first aid.
Specific responsibilities include:
Coordinating with caregivers to provide medical treatment as indicated by student’s health needs and history. Supporting the school psychiatrist in medication management. Maintaining cumulative and comprehensive documentation for each student’s health record.What you’ll get from us.

What we need from you.
An associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. Possession of a valid license to practice nursing in the State of Maryland: Registered Nurse (RN) 1 year of working experience in a school setting.WHY SHEPPARD PRATT?
