School Psychologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SchoolPsychologist to join our team and support the academic, social, and emotionalwell-being of students. The School Psychologist will work collaboratively witheducators, parents, and other professionals to assess and address studentneeds, develop intervention plans, and foster a supportive learningenvironment.
Position Details
+ Location: Oak Park, MI
+ Compensation: $60 / Hour
+ Hours: 37 / Week
+ Openings: 2
+ Schedule: Monday - Friday (No Nights, No Weekends, NoHolidays)
+ Duration: 25-26 school year
+ Weekly Pay
+ Start: 2 weeks after offer
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conductpsychological assessments to evaluate academic, emotional, and behavioral needsof students.
+ Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implementindividualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
+ Providecounseling and intervention services to students to address mental healthconcerns, social skills development, and crisis management.
+ Monitorstudent progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
+ Ensurecompliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding specialeducation and mental health services.
Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred)
+ Validcertification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state-specific).
+ Previous School Psych experience (required)
+ Strongknowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, andspecial education regulations.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Abilityto work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Additional Information:
The School Psychologist works to support students through avariety of mental health and developmental issues and aid in qualifyingstudents for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-sitepsychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state anddistrict.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Must maintain current State licensures and/or certificationsin state of assignment
+ Experience in pediatric and adolescent population ispreferred
+ Master’s degree in psychology preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
