 Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range: $63,910 - $81,720 (based on qualifications and experience).

School Social Worker Duties:

Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to studentsImplement individualized plans to address identified needsCollaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a supportive school environmentAct as liaison between the school, families, and community to ensure students receive necessary servicesProvide immediate support and intervention in crisis situationsConduct workshops and training sessions for students, parents, and staff on topics related to social skills and child developmentMaintain accurate records of student interactions and progress

 

Social Worker Qualifications:

Previous school-based and/or pediatric social work experience is preferredMaster's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work District of Columbia Department of Health Social Worker License
