School Social Worker - Full-Time 2024-25 School Year

Location: Great Lakes, IL

Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Caseloads: Caseloads will be split with another social worker, typically around 30 students with IEPs in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Salary: $58,000-$70,000 depending on experience

We are currently looking for a full-time School Social Worker to join our team and provide support to students in Great Lakes, IL for the 2024-25 school year.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct Assessments: Evaluate students' needs through formal assessments and develop appropriate action plans.Advocate for Students: Act as a liaison between the student, school, and community resources to ensure students’ rights and needs are met.Promote a Positive School Climate: Foster an inclusive and supportive school environment that promotes the well-being of all students.Collaborate with Teachers and Staff: Work with educators and school personnel to identify and support at-risk students.Maintain Confidential Records: Keep detailed and confidential records of student interactions, progress, and interventions.Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social WorkIL PEL with an endorsement in Social WorkPrevious experience in a K-12 setting preferred
