Job: Elementary Social Worker
Location: Plainfield, IL 60544
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 29th, 2025
Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM (7-hour days, including a 30-minute unpaid duty-free lunch)
Caseload: Approximately 30 students
AnthroMed is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elementary Social Worker to join our team at an elementary school in Plainfield, IL for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is ideal for an experienced social worker who is passionate about supporting the social, emotional, and behavioral development of elementary-aged students. In this role, you will have your very own office space and tons of support from staff in the school along with the constant support we provide at AnthroMed!

Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students in need of social-emotional support.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and provide appropriate services.
- Support students with social skills, conflict resolution, and coping strategies.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other school-based team meetings as required.
- Offer crisis intervention services as needed and assist in creating a safe and supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
- PEL License
- IDFPR License
