Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to team up with us and foster positive transformation in the lives of Early Childhood students in Crestwood, Illinois. In this position, you will play a crucial part in supporting a 43-student caseload and will work with another SSW in the building. Responsibilities:

Provide targeted support to identified students in the Early Childhood setting.Manage a 43-student caseload.Collaborate and work alongside another SSW in the building.Will have their own office space.Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success.Advocate for students’ holistic welfare (social, emotional, academic).Cross-functional collaboration with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs.Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed.Develop and track interventions in order to understand IEP effectiveness. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social WorkLMSW license eligible in the State of IllinoisPrevious experience in an Early Childhood setting is preferred
