Seneca is looking for a School-Based Therapist to support a caseload of students and families with therapy, case management, and consultation services. This role supports many schools across the city of San Francisco. As a School-Based Therapist, you’ll provide outstanding therapeutic and case-management services, including conducting mental health assessments and implementing individual behavioral plans. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school leadership to ensure the success of youth and families in a district school setting.

Responsibilities Work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team with teachers, counselors, other specialists/educational staff, and program leadershipProvide interventions including therapy (individual, group, family) and case management for identified students based on school-based referrals, individualized clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment planningEngage caregivers in the treatment process, providing frequent opportunities to discuss student growth and needsProvide crisis intervention, including risk screening, assessment, triage, and service linkageUtilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response trainingThis may include intervening with the clients' behavioral program through physical management of the clients, if applicable.
