Seneca is looking for a School-Based Therapist to support a caseload of students and families with therapy, case management, and consultation services at grades 6th- 12th at Envision Academy school in Oakland, CA. As an School Therapist, you’ll provide outstanding therapeutic and case-management services, including conducting mental health assessments and implementing individual behavioral plans. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and school leadership to ensure the success of youth and families in a district school setting.

Responsibilities Collaborate effectively with a trans-disciplinary team to implement academic, behavioral, and therapeutic services for students in need of interventionImplement research-based interventions aligned with the three tiers of the MTSS pyramid, including individual, group, and family therapy as well as case management for identified students Provide coaching and professional development to support school staff in experiencing success with all studentsEngage caregivers in the educational process, providing frequent opportunities to discuss student growth and needsConsult school staff on safety assessments, mental health crises, and accessing social services.
