**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented School to Work – Manufacturing person to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Seymour, IN. ***This position will be on-site in Seymour, IN.** This is an onsite role to assist the Seymour Engine Plant Manufacturing Engineering team (Assembly, Test, and Machining) with a variety of projects, including equipment documentation, support of special projects, plant layouts, etc. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** • Key responsibilities would include the following types of tasks that support the Seymour Engine Plant Manufacturing team. • Utilize ACAD for layouts, coordinate organization / generation of machine documentation, audit labeling all special tools (SEP Tool Nos.), Assist with Process Qualification Plans, Pure Safety task execution, equipment/fixture/tool setup & debug, etc. • Work cross functionally with Maintenance, Safety, Operations, Materials, and Quality groups to support manufacturing projects. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** • For the SEP STW program, we request that Seymour High School Students be considered first. Applicants are preferred to be a participant in the Seymour High School Owls Manufacturing Program. • Basic understanding of AutoCAD is preferred. • Drives results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances. • Action oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm. • Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. • Successful applicant will be working onsite day shift hours supporting Manufacturing Engineering at the Cummins Engine Plant in Seymour, Indiana. • Applicants must have good communication skills and be self-starter. **Education** • For the SEP STW program, we request that Seymour High School Students be considered first. Applicants are preferred to be a participant in the Seymour High School Owls Manufacturing Program. • This is an onsite position. Work schedule can vary as needed to accommodate the student's regular school schedule. **Experience** • Request that successful candidate work a routine schedule up to the STW limit of 19 hours per week.
