Job DescriptionAECOM is actively seeking highly motivated Field Interns for employment at our Former Spencer Range jobsite in Van Buren County, Tennessee, approximately 10 miles southeast of McMinnville and 12 miles south of Spencer. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, curious, results-oriented, and decisive. Imagine working on rewarding projects and having access to exceptional training and career development opportunities. This position is expected to begin in September/October 2024.
The responsibilities of this internship include, but are not limited to:
Assist with advanced geophysical data collection effortsCollect and transmit dataTrouble shoot technical issues with advanced technologiesMiscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basisHelp plan, organize, and track field effortsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Geology, Civil/Environmental Engineering and must have completed at least two years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
