Welcome to our Commercial & Science communication team As we are building new science, business area and team, we have a “hands-on” mentality and are looking for people who are self-starters and like to bring in their own ideas with a big impact. Our science and commercial team is located across Germany, Denmark, and China and you will be reporting to the Director of Commercial Development and Strategy based in Germany. You can be located in any of larger Novonesis HMO Hubs in Germany, Denmark, China or APAC. The ability to travel is needed across Europe, China and APAC and estimated travel time can be 20-30%. Further we offer a hybrid office set up with high flexibility of home-office. In this role you’ll make an impact by: You will be the science matter expert in HMO science and infant nutrition. You will apply science to support research collaborations and the HMO growth agenda by strengthening communication with internal and external stakeholders, scientific teams and partners as well as our customers. You will be a key player in shaping the future scope for the Novonesis HMO platform as well as scientific communication activities. You will focus on elaborating the relevance of various scientific findings, including clinical trials, preclinical experiments, and literature reviews in infant nutrition, milk research and associated fields. As well as translating the scientific findings in recommendations for applications and strategic development for commercial value. To succeed you must hold: You have a degree in science, ideally a PhD in nutritional sciences, microbiology, human physiology or a similar field, and 3-5 years of professional experience. You have experience as a scientist in R&D, clinical research, human milk research, or similar, preferably in the field of infant nutrition. You also have an excellent scientific understanding and experience in study projects. Relevant scientific publications in the fields of nutritional science, dairy research, pediatrics or similar and experience in infant nutrition are a great advantage. Personally, you have excellent communication and high presentation skills and fluency in English. Moreover, you are a self-driven, energetic, and pragmatic team player.
