Scientist I Science & Research Fort Worth, TX, US Pay Rate Low: 30.00 | Pay Rate High: 34.40 + Added - 09/10/2024 Apply for Job Great 2 year R&D Scientist development opportunity to work for a global leader dedicated to helping people see brilliantly R&D Scientist I Pay: $30.00 - $34.40 **Location:** Fort Worth, TX (Onsite) **Duration:** 24 months + Conduct laboratory experiments providing timely scientific observation and proposing practical solutions to develop new formulation and process. + Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw material, in process formulations and finished products according to standard operating procedures. + Independently perform laboratory experiments to develop new ocular health formulation and feasible manufacturing processes for the formulation including hydrogels, solutions, emulsions, and other delivery systems as per business need + Demonstrates technically driven technical writing skills, with attention to detail. + Assist and/or lead process, laboratory, and equipment validation to support research and development of new and/or existing product. + Assist pilot production of GxP samples by applying aseptic techniques and following established manufacturing procedures. + Conduct routine and non-routine characterization and evaluation of formulations according to standard operating procedures. + Assist transfer from lab scale to pilot scale and scale up activities. + Demonstrates learning agility in obtaining the understanding in chemistry, polymer solutions, formulation, structure, and property relationship of polymer solutions. **Education Requirements:** + Bachelor of Science in the following with minimum 3 years’ experience; Engineering, Chemistry, or Related Science + Master’s Degree in the following with minimum 1 year experience; Engineering, Chemistry, or Related Science This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
