Job Title: Scientist IJob Description The Antibody (Ab) Conjugation Scientist I will be an integral member of the 1st Shift team, responsible for the production of fluorescent labeled bioconjugates. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on manufacturing tasks and work in accordance with production schedules, providing accurate data documentation and maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment. This role requires both independent work to produce quality products and teamwork. Responsibilities + Conjugation of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. + Perform accurate and aseptic lab techniques, good documentation practices, and good manufacturing practices. + Use of general lab equipment (centrifuges, spectrophotometers, pipettes, etc.). + Perform ion exchange chromatography, buffer and reagent preparation, FPLC (AKTA), HPLC, plate reader, etc. + Initiate Problem Reports for planned and unplanned deviations and failures. + Accurately document and complete all manufacturing batch records independently. + Navigate through laboratory database systems independently. + Follow verbal and written instructions. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. + Follow all departmental SOPs, guidelines, and procedures. + Call out issues timely and effectively. + Suggest ideas for continuous improvement. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in a biological science. + 0-3 years of experience in cellular biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, general biology, or microbiology laboratory techniques in a manufacturing environment or R&D laboratory. + Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite products with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, and Word. + Excellent communication (written and oral) skills. + Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. + Highly motivated and dedicated individual who is well organized, meticulous, and has strong social skills. + Ability to multitask. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge and experience with size exclusion chromatography and FPLCs. + Understanding of GLP and GMP processes and documentation. May be asked to lift weight of 45 pounds or more with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.50/hr.
