How will you make an impact?

As a Scientist II, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative team and will play a critical role in performing Quality Control assays and experiments on molecular biology reagents for global use in research and commercial products in the life sciences industry.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

Qualifying product(s) in a lab setting following standard operating proceduresPerforming  various assays which may include the following: PCR, qPCR, Bioanalyzer, HPLC, HPIC, small/medium nucleic acid purification, Polyacrylamide and Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, Cloning and Transformation, FRET, and radiation assays. Creating and maintaining specification batch records and other work order documentsAnalyzing data and making detailed observations to ensure product qualityInitiating and processing problem notifications for deviations and material nonconformanceMaintaining equipment, product inventories, and related records

How will you get here?

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field2 years of experience in a manufacturing or research laboratory setting.Demonstrated proficiency in scientific laboratory techniques and equipmentFamiliarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or GMP manufacturing environmentStrong commitment to continuous improvement

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $32.00–$47.00.
