This Scientist III will play a critical role in the design and synthesis of organic molecules and polymers, such as surfactants, detergent-like molecules, and PEGylated small molecule reagents. This role requires strong technical skills in multi-step organic synthesis, purification, and small molecule analysis by HPLC, MS, NMR, and other analytical techniques. This scientist will work in a highly collaborative environment with other R&D groups in the Life Sciences Research (LSR) division and other cross-division departments. Responsibilities include organic chemistry tasks such as making detergents, using statistical analysis and validation, and working on purification and design of small molecules for future products.

Work Environment
R&D Organic Chemistry and Synthesis. Life Science R&D Lab. Within their Life Science R&D team of 10 people currently. 8 out of 10 have PhDs as Scientists and they all work on new ways to develop products for the company.
