Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide support services to businesses in various administrative areas. Each day, you will engage internal customers. You will also showcase your expertise by driving efficient support services.The work model for the role is: #Li - OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators Business in Vadodara.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tScrap Handling: Oversee the proper collection, segregation, and storage of scrap materials.•\tInventory Management: Maintain accurate records of scrap materials, including type, quantity, and disposal methods.•\tVendor Coordination: Liaise with scrap dealers, recyclers, and waste management vendors for timely and efficient scrap disposal.•\tCompliance: Ensure all processes align with local environmental, health, and safety regulations and followed management instructions strictly.•\t5S at Scrap yard- Ensure all waste materials are keep properly and 5S maintained in shopfloor•\tProcess Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to minimize scrap generation and enhance recycling practices.•\tCost Control: Monitor scrap-related costs and explore cost-effective disposal or recycling options.•\tReporting: Prepare regular reports on scrap metrics, including volumes, revenues from recycling, and compliance status.

Qualifications for the role

\tDiploma/BE/BTECH in any Engineering field is must.\tYou have at least 5+ years of experience with material or scrap management.\tExperience in scrap management, waste management, or materials handling, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.\tFamiliarity with scrap inventory management and reporting.\tKnowledge of regulations and compliance related to waste management (local, state, and federal laws).
