**Now Hiring: Scrap Operator/General Labor** **Job Description** The Reclaim/Scrap Operator assists Machine Operators by recycling material and scrap aluminum. You will work with other teams as needed and help maintain a clean work environment. This role involves recycling products that do not meet quality standards by peeling protective film from sheets and processing them through a separator. This is an entry-level position for someone looking to prove themselves and potentially transition into a full-time role. **Responsibilities** + Keep work area clean + Adhere to safety and environmental rules + Draw ATH for disposal and assist with cleaning of machines + Remove and sweep debris from the burner and machines + Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures + Support supervisors and team in training and cross-training efforts + Maintain Forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi + Complete other duties as assigned by department manager + Wear personal protective equipment including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and additional PPE as required **Essential Skills** + Correctable eyesight required + Comfortable working around moving equipment + Ability to climb ladders and stairs + Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, forward reaching, and twisting + Occasional squatting, crouching, and above shoulder reaching + Ability to stand for extended periods + Dexterity manipulation for use of hand tools and light equipment + Able to push/pull material using pallet jack + Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. + Moderate exposure to temperature change in non-climate-controlled environment with potential of working near heated processes **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General production experience + Experience with packaging and material handling + Willingness to learn and be cross-trained + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment **Why Work Here?** We are proud to be a global leader in aluminum and metal composite manufacturing.
