In this role, you will maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and prioritizing safety. This position offers hands-on work with diverse machinery in a collaborative environment, fostering both professional growth and skill development.
ResponsibilitiesConduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery per the COGZ Maintenance System.Diagnose equipment issues through observation and troubleshooting methods.Perform necessary repairs and oversee contractors when external services are required.Initiate material requests for repair parts.Assist in training team members and perform other duties as directed by supervisors.Qualifications and RequirementsExperience: Two to four years of experience in machine maintenance or equivalent training in mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.Technical Skills: Must be trained in Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and possess strong troubleshooting abilities.Education: High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience preferred.Mechanical Aptitude: Proficiency with tools, machinery, and reading machine drawings.Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and correspondence, with effective verbal and written communication skills.Mathematics: Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers for extended periods, lift up to 35 pounds regularly, and perform tasks requiring close, color, and distance vision.Benefits and PerksPay Rate: $22.00/hr (Negotiable) plus $3.00/hr shift differential.Medical Benefits: Eligible for dental, vision, and health insurance.Holidays: Paid holidays after meeting eligibility.Training & Growth: Opportunities for skill development and career advancement.Your New OrganizationThis role is with a leading manufacturer known for high-quality products in the Screw Department.
