**Job Title: Screw Machinist** **Job Description** Set up, operate, and maintain Multi-spindle Davenport machines to produce manufactured products that meet quality standards. This role requires proficiency in mechanical tooling, blueprint reading, and machine setup. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience with multi-spindle screw machines that are cam-driven, not CNC. **Responsibilities** + Set up, operate, and maintain Multi-spindle Davenport screw machines. + Use measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers to ensure precision. + Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and shop drawings. + Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on machinery. + Operate additional machinery such as drill presses and 4-Slide machines. + Ensure all produced parts meet tight tolerance and quality standards. + Collaborate with team members and assist in other areas such as sorting or shipping when needed. **Essential Skills** + At least 2 years of experience with cam-driven multi-spindle screw machines. + Proficiency in setting up, running, and maintaining multi-spindle screw machines. + Experience using precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings. + Knowledge of troubleshooting and mechanical tooling. + Strong communication skills. + Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to operate various machines and learn new ones. + Familiarity with shop mathematics. + Experience with hand and forklift trucks. + Ability to work with close tolerances. + Capability to adapt to flexible schedules **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
