Under the general direction of the Physician, performs a variety of patient care activities and accommodative services to assigned patients of all ages. Supports the objectives of the Physician office and hospital. Refers significant information or concerns to the Physician.

Minimum Education
High school education / GED or equivalent
*Years of relevant experience may be substituted for the required education.

Minimum Work Experience
3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred, knowledge of anatomy, pharmacology and medical terminology required.

Certifications:
BLS required one month from hire date

Required Licenses
[United States] Medical Assistant
Must be a current Certified Medical Assistant
