**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborates with Product Owner to communicate a clear, compelling product vision to the team
+ Collaborates with Product Owner to assure product backlog / roadmap health
+ Supports the team in holding themselves accountable to consistently and sustainably deliver value to customer
+ Tracks and Reviews team progress / health using Agile methods (e.g. MBOs, velocity, definition of done, WIP, throughput)
+ Validates Agile tool data for Data Governance/Fixed Capacity Billing for Team (Rally Board, Feature Data, US Data, Milestones, etc.)
+ Typically responsible for independent contributions, single team, and fundamentals as Scrum Master
+ Conduct retrospectives resulting in identifiable action items for continuous improvement, facilitating in depth conversations regarding obstacles and opportunities
+ Guides team in celebrating successes through formal ceremonies
+ Makes Visible, responds to blocking issues impacting team's progress, taking accountability, escalating as needed
+ Monitors outside influences and distractions which may interrupt the team, intervenes as needed to protect the team
+ Tracks team progress using historical data looking for team over commitment and complacency
+ Empowers team to take ownership over the what, how, and when of their daily efforts
+ Coaches team through healthy conflict and debate
+ Applies questioning techniques to explore issues, uncover assumptions, and to get to the truth of thingsfacilitate the daily standup (sometimes called the daily scrum) and helping the team reach a consensus
+ Helping the team make progress on the project by ensuring each person is working on the right tasks, helping to remove any obstacles to the team members’ progress, and protecting the team from distractions.helping the team agree on what they can achieve during each development sprint (or another period)
+ Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
+ Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team
+ Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
+ Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role
+ Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization
+ Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
+ Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
+ Help teams implement changes effectively
+ Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
+ Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
+ Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
+ Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
