Goal is to lead the team to their terminal velocity, remove impediments and champion the Agile Solution Factory (ASF) methodology. Basic responsibilities include:
Support the team in achieving daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectivesImplement, enforce and continually improve SAFe/Agile/Scrum principles/ practicesAssess team's Agile maturity and coach teams to higher levels of maturityProvide mentoring and training for the team on Agile processes, methods, and practicesProactively seek opportunities to use process improvement and re-engineering methodologies to facilitate improvements to team processesTo be a coach and have a positive attitude. This is not a project manager position, although our SMs are leads that enable the product teams to succeedCoaching, leading, facilitating meetings, holding the team accountable, being accountable for the process and the product.Providing servant leadership style support to team - personify the ASF approachFacilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performanceIdentify and remove impediments to help protect the team from outside influences, which could otherwise interfere with the team’s ability to deliverExperience in managing professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignmentsLead, direct and review the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.Manages a team with a focus on policy, implementation of strategic initiatives and execution of day-to-day deliverables.Partner with the Government Product Owner to gather requirements and manage and refine the backlogTrack the Agile Product Team’s Agile metrics, report results to Release Train Engineer, and raise risks timely when metrics are not meeting QASP quality levelsMore About the Role:
CACI is currently seeking Scrum Masters for the Army Military Pay program based in Crystal City, VA. You will support the team in achieving daily, iteration, and release goals and delivery objectives while implementing, enforcing and continually improving SAFe/Agile/Scrum principles/ practices.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.10 years of software development and implementation experience with at least 5 years supporting Agile/SAFe scrum.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Solid experience in incremental software development projects using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Scrum approachUnderstanding of all elements of the software development life cycleUnderstanding of all elements of the software development life cycle to include requirements management, decomposition, refinement, development, release management, and deploymentHighly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starterAbility to communicate in a clear and concise manner and success working in an Agile SAFe Scrum TeamActive or Interim DoD Secret clearance Willing to obtain SAFe Certified Scrum Master certification within 90 days of startingThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
