Barbaricum is seeking a Scrum Master to support the Department of Defense’s Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO) in accelerating the DoD’s adoption of data, analytics, and AI. This role will play a critical part in the integration of multidisciplinary data supporting the development of combined joint all-domain command and control (CJADC2) capabilities, essential for integrated joint warfighting and delivering these capabilities to the combatant commands. The CDAO aims to build subsets of this program to support the overall biosurveillance program, providing sophisticated technical expertise to address the emerging challenge of data integration across different security classifications with state-of-the-art digital solutions.ResponsibilitiesDocument requirements and specifications; review documentation provided by other teams and vendorsProvide subject matter expertise to support agile development using methodologies based on iterative development, requirements, and solutionsSynthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelinesSupport the development and management of project milestones, goals, and deliverablesProactively engage with CDAO members and DoD cross-organizational colleagues both inside and outside of your teamQualificationsActive DoD Secret Clearance requiredBachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 5 years of experienceExperience with Agile software development methodologies and toolsStrong communication skills, with the ability to proactively engage fellow CDAO members and DoD cross-organizational colleagues both inside and outside the teamAdditional Information
