Scrum Master
- Making sure everyone on the team understands the project goal and scope
- Helping the product owner maintain the product backlog
- Facilitating scrum events Scrum Master Serve the development team by:
o Coaching the development team in self-organization
o Helping to remove obstacles to developers and tester progress
o Ensuring proper Sprint Backlog for the team
o Identify and manage dependencies
- Remove any technical challenges by collaborating with architect team Scrum Master serve the entire organization by:
o Encouraging the organization to adopt the scrum methodology in their workflow
o Coaching the organization on the transition to a working scrum framework
- Maturing the team to move on to next level in Agile maturity Technical Skills:
o JIRA, Clarity, MS Office tools, and any other management tools.
o Scrum Certification is a must
o SAFe certification is nice to have
- Responsible for overseeing all task activities assigned to the Scrum team are performed in a timely manner with minimal technical debt, while maintaining the highest quality of performance.
- Will interface with client personnel and use oral and written communications skills to develop great working relationships with stakeholders.
- Will lead a Scrum team to perform planning, development and testing on a large software development, implementation, and integration project.
- Conduct all Scrum related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospective and client demos. Interface with product owners on an active basis to manage product backlog and sprint activities.
- Remove obstacles and manage risks to enable team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all scrum activities are tracked and kept up-to-date and reported daily.
- They are helping the team agree on what they can achieve during each development sprint (or another period).
- They facilitate the daily standup (sometimes called the daily scrum) and helping the team reach a consensus.
- Helping the team make progress on the project by ensuring each person is working on the right tasks, helping to remove any obstacles to the team members progress, and protecting the team from distractions.
