The Opportunity:

The CACI team is looking to add an experienced Scrum Master to their growing software development contract with the Department of State in Rosslyn, VA. The Scrum Master will be an integral part of the Agile team responsible for preparing and facilitating daily scrum meetings, biweekly sprint planning, review, retrospective, and backlog refinement sessions.


Responsibilities:

Guide scrum-team through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team

Organize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events 

Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management

Assist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that are clearly articulated with well-defined acceptance criteria

Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs

Assist with internal and external communication

Assist product owners with backlog refinement

Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition

Determine and remove impediments that interfere with the ability of the teams to deliver assigned goals

Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution

Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase velocity

Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity, and innovation
 

Qualifications:

Required: 

Must have an active Secret security clearance.

6+ years of experience working in Agile as a Scrum Master, managing teams and people

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience

Experience leading Agile Scrum teams in a cloud environment.

Strong understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application development processes

Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically, JIRA and Confluence

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification


Desired:

5+ years of experience working within the DoD or IC Community

Scaled Agile Framework for the enterprise (SAFe) Agilest Certification

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$109,800 - $241,600
