Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to apply agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions. This role involves training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices, and ensuring effective collaboration within the team.

ResponsibilitiesTraining, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing.Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team through task assignments and/or escalations as needed.Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.Preparing and presenting status reports.Essential SkillsScrum Master certification.5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks.Background in computer science.Additional Skills & QualificationsAgile training.Management skills.Experience with IT projects.Work Environment

The role offers a remote work environment with options to work from our client offices. Preference will be given to candidates located in The Woodlands, TX, New Orleans, LA, or Little Rock, AR, as these are the client site locations. The role supports Entergy and includes holiday pay.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.00/hr.
