Scrum Master

Job Description

In this role, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and PI Planning for all DevOps Scrum teams. Your main goal will be to support and coach teams, encouraging collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a servant leader, removing obstacles and impediments to ensure team success.Work with the Product Owner to maintain a prioritized product backlog.Collaborate with stakeholders to align business goals and clearly communicate program success.Resolve conflicts, facilitate team communication, and improve overall team dynamics.Monitor team progress, track Sprint metrics, and provide performance reports to management.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, working agreements, and Agile methodologies.

Additional Responsibilities as a DevOps Team Member:

Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable systems.Build and maintain Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Troubleshoot and understand the cause and effect in complex systems.Review technical documentation and provide analysis.Share knowledge and present ideas to colleagues.Stay updated on the latest technologies, products, and market trends relevant to your area of work.Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.

Qualifications:

Professional Experience: Over 5 years in an engineering environment.Relevant Experience: Experience in Software or Firmware Development, or DevOps is advantageous.Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as GitLab, Ansible, Artifactory, and Terraform.Programming Skills: Experience with development or scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.Scrum Master Experience: Previous experience in a Scrum Master role and certification (CSM, PSM I) is beneficial.Agile Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, the Scrum framework, and best practices.Communication Skills: Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal abilities.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.Mindset: A collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
