Scrum Master I (Contractor)

Description We are providing an opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master I (Contractor) to join our team in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. As a Scrum Master, you will be a servant leader for our scrum teams, focusing on enhancing their effectiveness within our Agile Scrum environment. This role offers a contract to permanent position.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate the creation of high-value increments that adhere to the Definition of Done
• Coach team members on agile best practices, promoting self-organization and cross-functionality
• Ensure all Scrum events are productive, engaging, and occur as scheduled, including Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Retrospective, and Sprint Review
• Collaborate with Scrum Team and stakeholders, both internal and external, to influence decision making and support organizational project or product teams
• Aid in removing impediments to the team's progress, enabling smoother operations
• Assess and enhance the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization through coaching, aiming for higher levels of maturity at a comfortable and sustainable pace for the team and organization
• Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information
• Ensure the work is done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Requirements • Must possess strong knowledge in Agile Scrum and Scrum practices.
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
• Ability to review and monitor progress of Scrum teams.
• Excellent decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrable experience in dealing with stakeholders at various levels.
• Familiarity with ScrumMaster certification and best practices in Agile.
• Proven ability in sprint planning and removing impediments.
• Must possess ScrumMaster certification (CSM).
• Excellent external communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to creating a sustainable and efficient process environment.
