Complete Description:  IID needs someone to start in April and work approximately 20-40 hours to get familiar with our system and implement some changes and address some issues.  After that, IID is looking for a maintenance person for 1 year. Hours might be 4 one week and 0 the next. We also have some items we did not complete in phase 1. We may ask the programmer to do some estimates of required hours on these items.
The main area needing attention is in the files we receive via an industry e-filing portal. In theory, the records would be passing through the portal, viewed by IID staff and then automatically updating our system. We have a function to 'amend' a previous filing. This function is not precisely maintaining the original entry if an amendment is filed. A filing may have a series of names showing tiers of that product family. The system is not capturing sufficient detail. We cannot easily delete duplicates.Also a problem with key dates that come through as an amendment and not part of original record.
