SEA Indirect Procurement Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

•    Managing Southeast Asia spend for Indirect & Equipment category. Ensuring that purchasing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs, which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market. 
•    Responsible for managing Indirect procurement team in Southeast Asia – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippine, Vietnam.
•    Proven track record of leadership, strategic thinking in conjunction with ability to drive results are essential.
•    This role will be reporting into Senior Procurement Manager, Southeast Asia

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Leading the SEA Indirect team in identifying, develops, and implements sourcing strategies and savings projects.
•    Learns and applies Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process tools and skills to execute sourcing initiatives. May use pre-call plan and submit sourcing recommendation. Coordinates and manages process for TDC workshops, RFP's, and associated supplier feedback packs.
•    Support all Business unit (for Equipment) and Supply Chain (for Indirect) across country for lower delivered cost through TDC model and savings initiatives with SEA team.
•    To work and collaborate to implement in a specialty area such as compliance, systems and procure to pay process with compliance, system and procure team.
•    Evaluates vendor reliability and follows up on any problems regarding the use of purchased materials.
•    Evaluates service levels and engages supplier contacts and internal stakeholders in development and execution of process improvement plans.
•    Engages supplier organization and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones and action plan.
•    Assembles contracts and implements supply positions to ensure security of supply and achievement of procurement goals
•    Work closely with Supply Chain team on operation task and optimization and establishing long term procurement strategy for assigned business scope

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·        Minimum 6-8 years work experience, thereof 5 years of procurement experience with  experiences in leading team

·        Knowledge of sourcing and procurement tactics & strategies as well as a skill in “reading” the market

·        Strong leadership capabilities, Talent in negotiations and networking

·        Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.

·        Very good English language skills both oral and written.

·        Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, engineering, chemistry, supply chain management
