Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Los Angeles site is looking for a new Sea Logistics Reefer Customer Care Specialist to join our Sea Logistics team. Your Role Reporting to the Sea Logistics Reefer Manager you will ensure that all operational tasks are progressing smoothly and maintain close communication with the OCC (Operations Control Center) team to promptly address and resolve issues. Your Responsibilities Coordinate with the Operational Care Center team to monitor ongoing operations and ensure that tasks are progressing smoothly.Provide regular updates and escalate any potential delays or issues to relevant teams for swift resolution.Work closely with the Operational Care Center team to monitor the status of all shipments and operations, ensuring everything is on track.Ensure any operational issues or delays are promptly identified and communicated to the appropriate teams for resolution.Provide real-time updates to customers regarding the status of shipments, ensuring they are kept informed of any potential disruptions.Maintain close communication with all stakeholders to ensure that operations are running smoothly and efficiently.Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on shipment status.Anticipate potential issues and provide proactive communication to customers to prevent disruptions.Ensure customer feedback is collected, tracked, and communicated to relevant internal teams to improve service quality.Track operational performance, including identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement.Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all customer interactions and operational updates.Prepare and share performance reports with senior management, identifying key challenges and proposed solutions.Collaborate closely with the Operational Care Center team to monitor operational progress and resolve any bottlenecks or issues that may arise.Work alongside other teams such as Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure smooth coordination and timely execution of tasks. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
