Seasonal Agronomy Assistant

This position is for a 2025 Summer Internship from May to August 2025. 

Agronomy-focused internship to learn the ins and out of a Nutrien Ag Solutions retail location. As a Retail Field Intern - Agronomy Assistant, you will assist our team of agronomists in providing full-acre solutions to our growers. This hands-on role offers a unique chance to apply your academic knowledge to real-world situations, playing a vital part in helping farmers achieve their highest yields. 

  

What you will do: 

  

Assist agronomists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and data collection 

Interpret data to provide recommendations on fertilizers, pesticides, and other crop inputs 

Assist with the planning and execution of field days and grower meetings 

Maintain strong relationships with growers and internal teams 

Execute our culture of care and comply with all Nutrien Ag Solutions’ and industry regulatory and EH&S standards. 

  

What you will bring: 

  

Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year higher education degree program in Agriculture or a related program with an interest in Agriculture  

Must have a graduation date of December 2025 or later  

Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s license
