Seasonal Driver Overview The Seasonal Driver supports airfield snow removal operations by moving personnel and supplies to and from the airfield, and assists in chemical application (salt, brine etc.) when necessary. Seasonal Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Ensure safe and accident-free operation of company vehicles in poor weather conditions with low visibility. + Performs pre- and post-trip inspection on vehicle + Reports vehicle breakdowns or issues to maintenance personnel and supervisor + Accurately and promptly follow directions from supervisor. + Shuttle personnel, meals, parts, tools and materials on and off the airfield in support of airfield snow removal operations. + Plan and execute efficient routes to multiple different sites on the airfield and elsewhere. + Assist in general labor tasks at the base and on the airfield as needed. + Accurately and promptly follow directions from supervisor + Apply salt and other chemicals via a truck-mounted spreader or push spreader on sidewalks when necessary. + Manage and report amount of chemicals used/applied + Use appropriate plowing and salting techniques based on current ground conditions, including specified application rate (will provide initial instruction and guidance where needed) + Accurately report # of times different sites are serviced, including start and stop times for each site + Ensure safe and accident-free operation of company vehicles in congested and icy parking lots, airfield gate areas and on public roads Seasonal Driver Requirements Skills/ Experience + Valid Driver’s License + Ability to obtain airport security clearance + On-Call availability from October 15th to April 30th, must be willing and able to work long hours, nights, weekends and holidays + Required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift, grasp, carry, push and pull + Must be able to lift and/or move 50+ lbs + Need to have cell phone that can download application for clocking in and clocking out + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus + Capable of confident, efficient communication via cellphone, radio, writing and in-person Outworx Group and its family of companies is an EEO/AA Employer.
