Key Responsibilities:
Assist with field data collection, including sampling soil, water, and other media.Support environmental site assessments, spill response, and cleanup activities.Conduct inspections and document findings following established protocols.Perform basic equipment maintenance and calibration.Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines and safety protocols are met.Prepare and maintain accurate field notes and records for reporting purposes.· Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in environmental science, biology, geology, or a related field preferred.Willingness to travel to remote locations and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with environmental fieldwork or sampling.Knowledge of environmental regulations or safety standardsThis position requires critical thinking and analysis; frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting and carrying 30+ pounds; working in all weather conditions; field visits per project needs; ability to travel (drive or fly) to and from job sites in Alaska.Familiarity with GPS equipment and mapping tools.#LI-WW1
