Summary

This role will work with and support Crop Advisors and Supervisors in the area of providing agronomic knowledge, consulting, and analysis to growers.

Key Responsibilities Work with Crop Advisors to maintain established customer relationships. Soil sampling, plant sampling and field scouting in production agriculture areas. Assisting Crop Advisors with crop care activities. Delivery and transport of light equipment and delivery of product including seed, packaged ag chemicals, etc. Operation of application equipment and other duties as assigned. Provide agronomic training for SGS Crop Advisors and Crop Advisor trainees. Provide support and help to company agronomists and precision ag technicians as needed.  Typical Education Associate's Degree (A.A. or equivalent) Relevant Experience 3+ years related experience and/or training Required Certifications Other Information

Previous Crop Advisor experience, preferably with an established book of business for Simplot. Skills: Ability to operate equipment off road or farm roads. Strong communication skills and work on a team. Operate a 4-wheel drive pick up or ATV. Must have basic computer knowledge and be proficient in MS Office programs such as Word and Excel.
