Seasonal Hire - Epic Internship with Business Applications ( Paid 4 or 5 Months) **Location:** Texas Medical Center-Houston, Texas **Category:** Information Technology McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston Requisition #: 240003AE **Position Summary:** UTHealth Houston's Epic team is looking for an Intern or Seasonal Hire to assist for several months with one of our operational areas that deals with Epic's Business Applications areas. This employee will help with two different teams under our analysts and the Epic Business Intelligence Office the area that looks at business functions, applications, and analytics. It is a chance to learn about the Epic project from a high level and to partner and learn from the managers of our Epic software team. This is an hourly role that will only last four to five months in length. It will be allowed to work up to nineteen hours a week. This role is not eligible for benefits. **Position Key Accountabilities:** Assist with departmental needs and help out with various tasks and assignments. Help out with a backlog of IT tickets in the Epic area This team works remotely, so some or all of your schedule can be remote. But you may need to come on-site to get equipment and be trained. So please reside in the Houston area, and be okay with coming to the Texas Medical Center on occasion. **Minimum Education:** **You should either have a bachelor's degree or be working towards one** **Minimum Experience:** **No minimum experience, but prefer candidates who know Epic and its uses.** **Residency Requirement:** Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
